What is Chibify®?

Chibify® is a platform which lets you design, personalize, and create custom statuettes, charms, and miniatures using the latest in web and 3D printing technology. Visualize your character in 3D, export images for your profile pictures, and order a custom collectable figures, miniatures, or charms!

I've never handled 3D printed materials before. What are the materials' properties?

We invite you to check out our Product and Pricing page for more in-depth information. We have shared our experiences and impressions about the materials, but note that Chibify® does not give any warranty about the models and does not guarantee that the models will be fit for any particular purpose.

Are your materials food safe?

The 3D printed materials we use to produce our miniatures are not food safe, nor are they delicious. They are not designed to be used with, on, or as food.

Do you sell gift cards?

We sell digital gift vouchers which are delivered via email to your account's registered email address immediately after you complete your purchase. The email will contain a link to a shareable/printable page which can be given to the recipient. You can browse our selection of gift options by clicking the menu button on the at the top left of the page, and then clicking the gift card option. Note that you can select either domestic (US) or international shipping to be included. This will be included in the gift.

If a recipient would like to apply their voucher value toward a more expensive material or statuette, they can contact [email protected] to have their voucher code updated to apply to other products of higher value.

Can you add X part or feature to the character builder?

We have many features in development, and a list a mile long of user-requested additions. User suggestions are added to a user request wishlist which we referring to as we grow and add content. The best place to submit suggestions if on our Facebook wall or on Twitter to tell us about features and parts you’d love to see. We look forward to adding more stuff and appealing to a wider audience.

Can you do a unique design for a character, part, or pose based on a description or photo?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for unique parts, designs, or customized characters beyond what is currently available on the site. While we regularly add new content to our character creator and we invite users to submit their wishlist items, we cannot accommodate requests to manually adjust parts, details, or create new content for any given order.

Do you accept user-submitted parts?

At the moment, we do not accept user submitted content. In order to be compatible with 3D printing and to be integrated into our parts system, models have to meet a number of artistic and technical requirements. Things like minimum thicknesses for reasonable durability, knowing what details will successfully show up when shrunk down to miniature scale, and many other considerations go into our design process: not just any models will do. At the moment, our goal is to provide a robust library of parts that are designed specifically for 3D printing from the ground up.

How long does shipping take?

Please see our Shipping page for production time estimates. After an order is placed, you can access your order's information and status on your profile page by clicking "Account," then "Orders" in the top right of our main site, and then clicking on your order number. There you will find your order status, estimated ship-out date, and any pertinent tracking information. We do not currently support any expedited production or shipping options.
